A Music Together class is a community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting.  Music is learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children.  Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers participating at their own levels in family-style classes of mixed ages.  Music Together offers morning and evening classes, 10 week sessions, at two different State College locations: Oakwood Presbyterian Church, out near Lowe's, and Pine Hall Lutheran Church, 1760 W. College Ave., across from Rider Auto.  Free classes are offered all through the year.

Kindermusik® is an internationally respected music and movement program for babies, young children and their families. The primary goal of Kindermusik classes is to help children and their parents experience the joy of music through child-centered, developmentally appropriate activities and exploration.

Students will learn and gain balance, coordination, agility, strength, endurance, flexibility, speed, fitness, respect for self and others, concentration, self-esteem, self-control, self-confidence, positive outlook, sense of well being, goal setting and achievement all in one fun interactive class!  Parents are encouraged to come and participate with the class.  Violence is completely eliminated from the program as we do not teach the children to use their bodies as weapons.  Instead, every technique is learned to be used as a tool.   We have opened up the Mighty Mites program to all families.  The average family consists of Mom and/or Dad and one to two children.  An even number is usually nice but if Mom & Dad want to participate with their one child they may do so.  We ask that children be under seven years of age.
